A low-pressure intumescent strip that gives excellent fire-sealing properties with the benefit of a flexible strip of intumescent material.

Phosphate-based intumescent fire strip.
Give an approximately ten-fold increase in volume when exposed to a temperature above 180C.
Available in a variety of shapes so that it can be used in a wide range of applications.
Also suitable for gaskets for ironmongery protection i.e. locks, latches, bolts, hinges etc.
Useful in applications where the gap to be filled is small and the fire retardant properties are beneficial, such as over panels.
A moderate degree of expansion in order to provide some resistance to erosion.
 
Areas of Application
Developed for glazing applications where a pressure-forming product is disadvantageous.
